It's all in the name.

I am getting started on an Ipe/some other wood backed long bow. I was told this is a good place for new guy's. I will say that if I am building a self bow I will be to busey to play with my wheel bow. I am mostly looking on pointers on the nuts and bolts  must have tool's as this is my first self bow .Any info is apreceated. Thanks much.
