The Bowhunters of Trad Gang.com DVD
« on: October 24, 2014, 01:52:00 AM »
I have watched "The Bowhunters of Trad Gang.com Volume 1 more times than I could count. In my opinion it is still one of my favorite Bowhunting DVD's of all time.
It would sure be great to see a Volume 2 made.
It has been over 7 years since volume one came out.

On that same line of thinking...

In think it would also be really cool to bring back the member interview forum.  With some of the same people and some new ones.  I read those all the time, I think it's really interesting knowing people's backgrounds, how they got into the sport...etc.  I'm sure that kind of thing is a ton of work for the mods, not trying to be pushy.  Just a thought.

I have some footage....and certainly could put one together with a litte more footage and maybe some more 'how too' segments....and maybe a few more stories from one of our members.

But it the TIME I really need, the TIME.

Anyone want to put it for some how toos they would like to see?  Bear in mind, they would need to be short segments, like maybe 10 minutes or less.

I might 'find the time this winter if I had someone to help me produce and edit it.

Tom Mussatto did a JAM UP job on the 1st one. But I'm not sure he's still doing things like that anymore.

BTW...someone needs to interview Tom...lots to learn from him for sure.

I don't have many computer skills, and I'm not even sure what producing and editing really entails.  That said, I will help any way that I can.

I hope we can get the word out to some of the fantastic Trad Gang members to submit some film footage and story lines so we could get another dvd ( Volume 2) That would be great. Volume 1 was a great mix of every kind of hunt. Hunts that I have done many times with my friends and hunts that I will always dream of going on. ( Africa and Alaska )
And the how too segments really good, very well done.
Then the fantastic stories from Charlie Lamb.
Volume 1 is 140 minutes of enjoyment spent with friends doing things in places that we all would love.

Anything I can do to help make Volume 2 happen please let me know.

That would be great.   I would love to see a section of bareshafting and general tuning considering it comes up so often.   Plus its always a good refresher.

Terry...I remember your 'Cant never Could' being on the dvd....was Charlie's Sharping videos on it too?  if not, those would be a great resource for many beginners on here.

I'm still looking for a 'Terry's Hat' how to.  ;)
