I shot it with a 54" Shrew Classic Hunter. Should have my new 58" Javaman Elkheart soon to finish out the season. I really like the shorter longbows for hunting. I try to limit my shots to inside of twenty yards.

Stud of a buck , I do the same as you don't matter where that first arrow hits if I can see em standind an arrow will be in the air.....

Congratulations on a great buck and even greater story.  This is the second year in a row I've missed my anual bowhunt in PA, but with stories like this it feels like I'm sitting in a stand there right now.
