Bama Bows Tribute Longbow..
« on: October 28, 2014, 10:18:00 PM »
I am considering a new Hill style bow and came across the Bama Tribute...

If anyone has one please tell me everything you can about the bow, dealing with this bowyer, and pros and cons of this model...

Pix are appreciated while I consider wood options....

Thanks!

I can tell you the bowyer is one heck of a good person and builds good bows.

If he tells you something you can take it to the bank.

God bless,Mudd

his hunter model is excellent as well and is hill style in my estimation.

Here's a 94# Tribute I had Nate build me a year ago.  Lovely craftsmanship.  Wenge riser and black glass.

There aren't any 'cons' that I can think of.  The only thing Nate does different than some Hill style bowyers is he doesn't 'trap' the limbs. He keeps the limb cross section rectangular.

Fantastic bow. My tribute points unbelievablely well. Super craftsmanship. I have a half breed as well. Bama gets the nod  I don't know how to post pics yet. Also I have a new exp 111 recurve performance without a dought. They are both wowman bows every shot. Go ahead ask me if I like them

Very pleased with my Hunter model and thinking about a tribute myself. Ditto what's already been said about Nate. Great craftsmanship, quick build, and a resonalbe price. What else could you want?

Are you sure you posted the right weights and those are not typos?

I'll say one thing, whomever you are you definitely deserve to have MR. in front of your name!!

I couldn't shoot a 126 pound bow with a come-a-long...
