Day One... Skull Cap or Ski Hat??
«

Howdy, I Am in the market for a warm piece of head gear being insulated w/ windstop...Ideally I want it to fit snug over my head (like the skull cap) but the skull only has insulated or wind stop ( not both).... On the other hand, the ski hat has the insulated w/ wind stop option, which I like, but according to the pictures , sits "high" off your head like a cone head . Am I wrong? Any experiences out there? Which do I need? Thanks

No idea, but looking at the picture it looks like you would just roll up the bottom like a beanie, and it should fit not much different than the skull cap.

I would go with the ski cap; but that's because I wear glasses and the larger hat gives the opportunity to fold up the rear and make enough of a brim to keep some drizzle or snowflakes off.
(This is not a Day One)
