15 grns enough to worry about?

All,
Hopefully a softball for you guys. Is a 15 grain difference between broadhead and field point enough to worry about when it comes to accuracy and spine.
Specifically would a 200 gr fieldpoint be that different than a 215 gr broadhead? if so where do I get a 215 gr screw in fieldpoint???

Insignificant difference if any at all. My field points are 200 grains and my broadheads 235 due to glue-in adapter, both fly well.
Never a bad idea to shoot it and make sure for yourself though.

I'd say no way unless your on the border on one end or the other. If you're in the target area of the right weight it shouldnt be noticable. Heck I probably vary 15 grains in hot melt from tip to tip haha (not really, just kidding).

Shouldn't, but if you want you can get 5gr brass washers from 3 rivers to put behind field point.

Probably not, especially with carbon arrows. I did find however that 20 grains is pretty noticeable to me bareshafting aluminum. This the first year I really have done extensive bare shafting. I really was surprised how much switching from 125 to 145gr points moved point of impact on aluminum.

Like stated above....not unless you are borderline on spine.

Probably no, again esp. if you are using carbon.

okay thanks all. Just looking to order some heads and didnt want to buy them if it was likely i would have to change my entire set up. I am shooting carbons and think i have plenty of spine to mess with.
