I,ve been wanting to get a Royal for a long time, this fall, got the green light from Ma Bear, have a 68" Royal on order,, should be ready around mid March! Cocobolo riser, yew limbs, first longbow, first custom, pretty excited!..    

Thought I,d see if anybody could post some pics of their Royals, help a guy get through the long, long wait?..

Hi Muttly, here are a couple of pictures.
This is my first longbow that i got "used" almost a year and half ago.  I had just missed out on an Aspen longbow built by local bowyer who is no longer building. the fire was lit, and this one caught my eye on further searches. I love everything about it and have really enjoyed shooting it over the last year.
 
i think the limbs are bamboo, not sure of the riser woods.
 
I really like the R and D lines

I hope to hunt with it next season!

Appreciate the pics, definitely looking forward to getting the bow! Gotta admit, been pondering the idea of one with a maccassar ebony riser, bamboo limbs, myrtlewood veneers...
