Chuck,

You should send some to Ryan to go along with his Catwhisker/Hushpuppy test. Love mine, need to order more.

BTW, if you are ordering these, pick up some insoles and a beverage holder...those are also the best of the best.

Great video and so easy. Question, I always put silencers on and NEVER tought of tuning them,is is for only SOUND or FLIGHT of arrow that you would move the silencers???

I want to mention that I install them folded in half with the notches pointed toward my limb tips.   Works best for me but your mileage may vary.

Fmscan, For tuning, I am referring to sound. Although I might say that when the silencers are doing the job they are intended for, they will be helping your bow preform at it's peak, so maybe the arrow will be flying as it should.
Maybe somebody has a better way of putting it in words.

For sound.  I've seen bows where moving the silencers as little as 1" made a world of difference in how well they worked.

Putting one silencer at the 1/3 point and the other at the 1/4 point seems to work great on many bows, but there's always the exception.

Steve, I initially built a "scallop", but because the ends were loose, it turned into a cattail!      :D    LOL! I'm definitely ordering a set to "test" on my new bow!!!

Hey Chuck,

Any plans for "mini scallops", you know how I like four smaller sized silencers...

Fmscan, please don't ever be afraid to ask a question around these parts. Good folk will be along in short order to help you out.

Ryan, I am testing a smaller version of the Scallops now.  Maybe I should expand my testing horizons.

Music to my ears Chuck! I'm pretty set on using wool as silencers for my upcoming bowhunting rig! Four mini scallops might look pretty slick!
