I'm so excited! working on the trailer...or it's working on me!
This will be its last trip for us and it is trying to tell me something. As of last night, water heater element was not functioning...fixed that and then the water pump acted up...same thing as last year. Eight days without a shower is not a pleasant thing. Doesn't make the wife very happy either.
That's ok, as it won't detour me from my destiny!
By February, we should have our new travel trailer built and she is going to be a biggie.
Anyway, I have been shooting my 3d range here in the mornings...just me and my dog. I have been readying four different bows for this journey. One bow of each of my models in various weights but all the same general velocity. I haven't found one that I shoot enough better than another to justify the "go to" bow so I will just keep alternating them for fun. I wouldn't want one bow to think I loved it any less.
In addition to this being a great time, it is my fill the freezer hunt. I have been fortunate enough to take no less than two deer and as many as four each year here. Tough for us to survive on only two. However, this year my wife has already taken four locally. Should be plenty of eats at the Babcock house.
My equipment specs:
64" Buffalo 2 piece (new of course:)) 66@32 shooting 7595 gold tip trad blems with 300 g BigJim/vpa heads
58" ThunderChild (nearly new
) 66@32 shooting the same arrow as above with same broadheads.
64" Buffalo 3 piece (new bow/newly designed) 62@32 shooting black and white ebony footed fur shafts with ace 145g two blade heads.
60" Desert Bighorn recurve (old bow new limbs). 55@32 shooting CX 150 heritage with 175 g Vpa two and three blade heads.
Did I mention I am excited ???
thanks, bigjim
