While Will Shakespeare coined the phrase, it still rings true today. Veterans, from whichever service, have a bond that only a small percentage of the population can claim. Whether you served in combat or wore the uniform in peacetime, you are in an elite segment of citizens who answered your country's call. Interservice rivalries just add to the bond that we share, so I say thanks to you Jarheads, Squids, Coasties, and Air Farce folks from an old Army vet.

"We few, we happy few, we band of brothers" Thank all vets for serving, and remember that Veteran's Day is much more than some sale at the mall.

A huge thank you to all who served, or are serving now. Without all of your sacrifices we wouldn't be where we are now or have all that we have.   THANK YOU ALL!!!

Too many bows to list, and so many more I want to try!  Keep the wind in your face, and your broadheads sharp.

Always look forward to these annual threads and I'm glad to see that the current generations of Vets has been getting better appreciation than my generation did.

Being a veteran in these times makes me tear up more often than not.  To see how my fellow vets are fairing with the VA, vet rebates, and just the respect from our fellow patriots.  Thank You to all who have and will serve.

Another Grunt here, Nam 71/72, I think that bond we share
Is because we know how damn lucky we are to be alive and
Know the sacrifices each other has made.
Let's especially remember our fallen Warriors, our Brothers
And Sisters who made the ultimate sacrifice for this great
Country.
