Finally mounted up my buck!

Hey guys, I finally got around to finishing up mounting my buck that I shot last year. It happened to be my first trad buck and my best to date until it was beaten by this years buck. here is a link to the story for any who want a refresher.

Anyhow I finally got the skin back from the tannery and got around to mounting it up. I have only been doing taxidermy for a few years and I am no where close to as good as I would like to be. Luckily I've had help from a local taxidermist/form maker who has over a dozen world champion medals under his belt. He has helped my exponentially towards reaching my taxidermy goals.

So here he is, this will be my 6th deer mount I have done. The buck ended up scoring around the 132" mark.

Now that this one is finshed I need to get started on this years buck mount now    ;)   Cheers SS
