have you noticed ...

That alot of squirrels are being run over by vehicles?Are they searching for food ... or water?  :confused:

Gene, a hunting friend and I did a lot of driving between scouting walks this week. Had to dodge a lot of squirrels. i think they were getting acorns on the black topped roads. Arcorns are not as plentiful here this year, we only have red oak acorns this year.

Saw a trivia bit a while back that said squirrels are the #1 roadkilled animal in the US.
