first trad deer!!
« on: September 29, 2007, 11:17:00 PM »
hi all, tonight i shot my first trad deer. i climbed into my stand after attending a civil war re-enactment. last week i had shot over this same doe. using my checkmate falcon with wensel heads on cedar shafts i drew and shot hitting her in the neck. she went straight down and rolled over snapping my arrow. i put another arrow on, laying on her side- back to me, i shot the second arrow into her mid back. after shooting thousands of arrows and missing six deer, i finally did it! now i'm after horns! what a feeling.

It doesn't matter how or what you shoot, as long as you hit your target.
