Okay I have to ask you missed 6 deer and shot this one in the neck,did I understand this right, is this also your first deer,or first trad deer,what went wrong?

thanks for the kind responses, you're all cool. sorry about not posting pic's, i wouldn't have a clue how to do it. not set up for it or something. to answer rico's question: this is my first deer with a trad bow. shot a bunch with compound. last year i missed six deer with my recurve, my first year hunting with it. the neck shot: i have no idea why i hit it there. i couldn't believe it myself. i use the tip of the arrow as my so called aiming point. i drew back and anchored put the point on her and let fly, i thought i broke her back. i wasn't nervous or anything. it just happened the way it did. thanks again to all. by the way, those wensel heads are wicked.

LOL I know things can go wrong under hunting conditions.
   Have you tryed shooting instinctive. That made a big difference for me. Good Luck on that buck.
