Thumper Dunker

Been too busy to go out . Today I got a break so I went cat fishing . Took a bow just incase. Got out there with only time for one quick stand.  Got in the apricots made a quick tumble weed blind.  Was looking where I new where it will come in.
Did about six rabbit screams then some low moans.  Could here something coming in from my back Turned slowly to my left and there it was. Trotting  pass me about fifteen yards out.  Drew back and it stopped and looked at me then started to move on . The arrow was off. The arrow made a loud whack when it hit. The coyote jumped and fell asleep. When he looked at me my eyes left the shoulder and locked onto his eyes . My eyes never went back to the shoulder
Was not hard to track.

You can hop but you can't hide.
If it was not for rabbits I would never get a buck.
Yip yipahooooo yipyipyip.

Older male in real good shape. The bow is my old red wing.

The old coyotes must tell stories of you thumper. What a shot! He is a beaut too! And the pelt is now still hole-free! Very nicely done, as always!

Have you ever added up your total for your coyote kills? Holy moly!

Aim small...Miss small!!

Agree that the pelt looks prime with no holes to sew, would make another fine quiver. Congrats on a fast kill.
The essence of the hunt for me is to enter nature and observe+ return safely occasionally with the gift of a life taken.

Good shooting!  Yesterday evening I had one within 50 yards but it wouldn't come in further...

Littlejake

You sure did hit close to where you were looking! Great shot!
