No deer but.....,
« on: December 02, 2014, 03:32:00 PM »
It sure was a great morning to be out! Foggy with some light drizzle and bit of a cold wind. I set my Torges seat on the edge of a clearing and hunkered down to wait. Didn't get any action but, had a nice quiet time to reflect on some things and listened to the water drops in the woods behind me. Love to hunt!

Looks like a great place to hang out for a few hours.

One of the best things about a Torges seat is the ability to up and move as the day progresses. A ground hunters best friend IMO!

Not sure what you mean by plans but, it fits perfect in the pack in the pic and I will now carry it whenever on a hunt. I only ground hunt and it makes sense to use it when I want to setup on an area for a while to see what plays out. Surprisingly enough, without a cushion I was still able to sit comfortably for quite a while. I only got up and moved as it got a little cold yesterday morning!   :biglaugh:

Good stuff. Sometimes hunting doesn't have a thing to do about animals.

Hi TW, I read your post and remembered the Kodiak Hunter you sold me. Still didn't kill one with that bow, but it shoots great....Bobby

Glad to see you still with us Bobby! Also glad the Kodiak is up to your satisfaction. I like this PSE Ghost and got the whole setup for $250.00 w/free shipping brand new. I love my BigJim Desert Bighorn but, this one was easy to grab and go and not worry about tossing it around.   :D
