How Many California Archers?
« on: September 30, 2007, 11:06:00 PM »
How many California archers do we have on this site? I also wanted to tell everyone about the Gene Foster  shoot coming up in November, hosted by the Fresno Field Archers.

Anaheim here.  A bunch of my buddies go to Gene Foster every year but my schedule has never worked out for one reason or another.

Heres the scoop on the shoot....
It's always the second weekend of November....
It's a two day shoot, 1st day is all kinds of fun shoots and pop ups and moving targets, Second day is the Shoot it's self.....
Lots of people spend three or four days there.
Sat and Sunday the club has A very good breakfast and luch and Sat nite dinner Sunday Breakfast and lunch....
I consider it one of the best shoots in CA....
The shoot is located about 45 miles east of Fresno....

I was born in Petaluma but now live out here in the middle of the midwest...
Deer here in Kansas are just a tad bigger than those coastal blacktails tho...  :)

here's another...

former "bear state bowhunter"

i'm between temecula and palm springs.

i went to many "fresno safari" shoots in years past.
i was told by a sales person, when purchasing an out-of-date newpaper that it was out-of-date...

i told her "i've been told i'm out-of-date, too"...

does that mean i'm up-to-date?

Ventura County! Been there before trying to make this year but not looking too good so far. Boy Scouts are keeping me busy.

Sonoma County Bowmen. Heck, I just missed our local shoot since I was chasing blacktails in B-4 last weekend. I'll have to check my hunting calendar (the one my wife keeps!) and see if we can make it down to Fresno.
