black widow bow quiver
« on: December 06, 2014, 08:29:00 AM »
Good morning, all fellow archers.

I am still waffling between putting a quiver on my MAIII, but have come to the conclusion a quiver mounted on inserts in the riser would be less apt to interfere with the natural performance of the bow than one mounted via the take-down bolts.
Am I over-thinking this? I would have to install the inserts in my bow, as they are non-existent. Any tips on doing this trick?

I believe you are over thinking it.  I have Widows both with and without inserts and have both type quivers.  If I use a bow quiver, I seem to always use the limb bolt style on either.  Balance etc. seems much better.

Limb bolt quiver for me and have been using this style for the past 15 years.  Great performance with this set up.

I am not following why you think it might hurt the bows performance by mounting it on the limb bolts ?

Anyways, I have to agree with the above fellers.
