I do not get on as much as I once did but wanted to wish Hoosiers and others who may have an opener today the best of luck.

I sure wanted to be out this morning, but it's raining, and I'm drained, had 22 hrs of sleep in the last 8 days cause I been at a car show taking care of the campground, and organizing the flamethrower show, it's the biggest in the country, never had proper org. before and this was my first year running it too, it was awesome, and it went great, just need a day or so to recoup... but yeee haaaa, it's Deer season!!!

Two more shifts at work and I am off for 4 days. I cant wait. The youth season went well for my 9 yr old son. It was a gun hunt and he took a very large B&C doe. LOL.
He cant get the 35lb minumum back yet but he sure is working hard at it.

Been working on cutting firewood but will try to sneek out sometime this weekend. Getting ready to build a new house is getting in the way of my hunting.
Good luck to all you Hoosiers!!
Jim, tell Logan Congrats on the deer.

I am working the today and the next 3 days and then I am off again. I drew on a doe yesterday evening but didn't want to risk a bad shot and didn't shoot. Too many limbs, it was plenty close enough. I stink at spot and stalk but almost came out ahead on this one.
