Do yall think a 48" 20lb longbow would fit my 8 year old daughter? Her current bow is one of them green glass kids bows around 15 Lbs.

Sounds pretty close but it really depends on her draw length.

 My 8 year old is drawing a 48" 25# @ 24" recurve to 19" with no problem.

My experience teaching is that kids 8-10 years old are happier with the 15# bow.  Of course, they all have different draw lengths, and she may well not be pulling 20# yet.  Or she may be stronger than most of the kids I teach.  If you get it for her, don't get rid of the 15# bow until you're sure she's ready for the 20# one.  If you're getting it for her for Christmas, make sure she understands that you're just as happy if she keeps shooting the 15# bow until she grows into it.  If you get lightweight arrows for her, like 1516's, a 15# bow can be pretty snappy.

Yes, should be perfect. I started all of my grandchildren on a 20#@24" Bear Little Bear and they were all 4-8 when they started shooting.

The first dozen arrows I made for the bow were 24" 1/4" cedars with 70 gr points and 2.5" fletching. Then I found some old Easton XX75 1516s and they work well too.

If she struggles after the first few shots it is too much.  Being over-bowed is bad for learning form.  As was said above, keep the old bow.  She will grow into the new one if she is not already there, but don't let her shoot it too much if she is over bowed.
