Sasquatch heading to Finland....
« on: December 16, 2014, 11:21:00 AM »
Hi gang! Kirk has sent a parcel to me, to Finland. I'm going to make a review when I finally receive this beauty but for now I'm only serving you some eye candy!

This bow turned out to be just like I imagined it, or actually even prettier. This is 62" Bigfoot Sasquatch SS and it's 60#@29.5".

The riser woods are bocote and zebrawood accompanied with amazing curly cocobolo accents. The bocote riser block was quite straight grained but it had some pleasant surprises hidden inside, check out!

Kirk put this bow thru chono and the reading was 198fps with 614gr arrow, so 10.23gpp.

Kirk is a wizard with superb customer service! I asked million questions and got even more answers and everything went so smoothly that it's actually pity the bow is finished already.

Anyway, here she is, from block to a perfect hunting bow

Nice! Where are you in Finland?  My oldest son is in your country on a humanitarian mission.  He is up north right now.

Okay I see. It's said that Lappland starts from Rovaniemi but actually you would want to go little more north to see the wilderness. These are photos taken on July when I went hiking to Kilpisjärvi.

Yes it is. Finland is actually like only country in Europe where bow hunting is allowed. The biggest game we can hunt is roe deer at the moment, though. Whitail deer is also coming on a list, hopefully soon. They are at least working on it, i think
