I've owned several .. and still have a few
Bought a used Sky Longhorn T/D lock socket from the ads. 64" and it's the smoothest longbow I've ever shot for my 30" draw. Fit and finish is awesome.

Two Tracks Echo, 66" 56@28. Fits my hand perfectly and feels like an extension of my bow arm. Just a very comfortable bow for me to shoot.

I have 2. A Shafer Silvertip TD and a Robertson Tribalstyk. Those two bows just put the arrow where I am looking.

Not sure if its the bow or the style but I've been in love with my vixen longer than I "loved" and other bow. But I haven't shot any other ASL/HH style bows, but several other recurves and R/Ds over the years. Not that the others aren't good shooting bows (I even think that on a cold-shot my Grizzly would be more accurate in my hands) I just love the manners of this bow and the style with which it shoots well for me.

For me it's a Kanati, never shot a bow more accurate and effortlessly for me, I attribute it to the forward riser, just points so well.

Centaur carbon elite! We are not "exclusive" but I shoot it the best, hands down.

I have owned a couple dozen custom bows and the Old SA2 Black Widow just fit me from the beginning. The grip feels good and I shoot it better than any bow I have had.

I bought a 15" riser Bob Lee with light limbs.Sold the light limbs and bought some 50@28" 60" length longbow limbs from someone on this site. The bow was sooooo sweet could not miss killed one deer one hog and the bear in my avaitor.Well shooting her one day the top limb blew and Rob Lee could not make a matching pair I sold the new ones he made totally not even close much wider and no taper even after I sent the one good limb for a pattern.Really regret those limbs using recurve now.

I'd say there has been 3. I had a 56" thunderchild that was super sweet. I had a 58" whip that was about 43lbs at my dl and absolutely was a peach to shoot. My current setup is a tall tines 58" recurve and it is smooth as silk. I have trouble with my elbows and I've been able to shoot this bow for the last few months at 52lbs with no pain or issues.... Guess I found a keeper!

Black Widow PTF. I think it has a LOT to do with the high wrist Asbell style grip, my hand just seems to find its place with ease. Also very smooth all the way to anchor.

My answer to this question is truly evolutionary.
1. Silvertip LB
2. 3pc Thunderhorn
3. 2pc Toelke Whip
4. 3pc Toelke Lynx
5. Centaur Chimera
6. JD Berry Taipan
7. 2pc Shrew SS
Only have bows 6 & 7 in the stable nowadays.
If I had the patience and dinero I would like to try a 2pc Centaur Carbon Elite with Dark matter in riser.

Longbow- would be Stewart three piece slammers always seem to shoot and hit what I want to hit.
Recurves- Have had schafers for a very long time shoot great and the grip always right on the money.

Jack Howard Gamemaster Jet. Cadillac 'o bows. I had heard Dad talking about Jets for years...finally got my hands on one in 2009. Now I have 5. My oldest Jet is my go-to hunting bow - 65lbs at my draw length, 66 inch one piece with beautiful rosewood (as all Jets are) - perfect grip, stable and smooothhhhh, plenty fast enough and quiet for a recurve with that much hook to the limbs. Did I say perfect grip? Old Jack was WAY ahead of his time with bow design. My go-to bow was born the same year as myself as close as I can figure from the serial number (1974) and I've killed a few dandy's with it in the last few years. That's it hanging in the lodgepole pine behind the elk.

Howatt Hunter. Smooth and fast for a Dacron bow. Grip really works well for me once I got used to it. It is the bow I compare all others to and few measure up.
