Unfortunately for me, I thought several times I had found "the one" but, seem to always move them on for something else. Don't think I've found a bow yet that will permanently stay with me.

I'm hopeful though!   :bigsmyl:

My Blacktail recurve and my Shrew Samurai.  Like them both a lot. A real sleeper is my Kota recurve- one of the best deals out there.

Mine are a Leon Stewert R/D longbow I picked up used in '98 that I bought after the first 3 arrows. Didnt dicker on the price at all just gave the man 50 bucks to hold it till I hit the ATM.......... My recurve is a Predator my buddy bought in 2000 to back up his Palmer on a caribou hunt. Shot it when he first got it and told him I had first dibs when he sold it. I got it the week he got back.........both shoot exacty where I look from the very first shot..........I've also owned/shot/traded about 2 doz or more quality bows that have come and gone but just dont/didnt "fit" as well..........

When I shot my first 66" R/D Big River I was hooked.  The one that now is my GO-TO when I must make a shot is a 60#@28, 66" R/D Big River.  Second and may soon be first is my two piece 56@28, 66" R/D Big River.

There are many, many bows that I likely could shoot well, fortunately I don't have to try any others to find my favorites - I already have them.

For me so far it has been Habu bows.  I've got an older Habu recurve as well as a Habu Vyperkhan with triple carbon limbs.  The grip on the Habu bow is my favorite.  Even though the Vyperkahn is the newer of the two...if I were stranded on an Island and could only have one bow it would be the Habu recurve.  It's got all I want in a bow.  Heavy mass weight...perfect grip...large sight window etc.  I'm hoping to go to Kzoo this year to test out some that I really have my eye on as of late.  A Tall Tines and/or a Morrison with the new recurve limbs is at the top of the list for me right now.
