Arrow Buildalongs?
« on: December 20, 2014, 11:28:00 PM »
I just ordered some cedar shafts, and I'm soon going to order some of the other accoutrements for building arrows, and I'm wondering if there are any really good guides or buildalongs out there?

I've been searching but thought you guys might have some favorites you could point me in the direction of.

Thanks!

Go to "Forum Home" and scroll down to the build-a-long forum here. We have some very talented guys hanging around these pages.

Good luck, it can get addictive.

Rob Green posted this on another arrow building thing thread.
He gives a great demo on how to get them dead-on straight...the most important part of building woodies IMO.

What Westbrook said X2. The prettiest wood arrow is not worth a plug nickel if it is bent.

Here's mine from a few years ago...my first build...ahhhh, memories.

I also have a thread somewhere showing off my redneck cresting machine...cordless drill, surgical tubing and cabinet rollers.  There's a pic in the thread above.
