I found a way to really sharpen Simmons broadheads!
« on: October 01, 2007, 10:06:00 PM »
This method is not like the crock sticks, files, etc. I was trying to figure it out while sharpening my knife. I tightened one up (Simmons Landshark)in my Lansky and used the serated stone(smaller tip than the traditionak flat) and commensed to put a 25 degree angle with a med stone and then finished it with the fine serated stone and let me tell you it was scary sharp. It would'nt even grab the hair on my arm while shaving them. It was very smooth and not a gritty sharp like a file but smooth like the old Shick shavers.
