Lone Wolf had $50.00 off for Christmas + $5.00 shipping. I got a hand climber combo, love it. I can already tell it will probably see 80 maybe 90% of my future hunting time. Absolutely ingenious design compared to other climbers I've tried. I can't imagine anyone not liking it. I just watched the YouTube videos to learn how to use it correctly, so simple to use! Definitely an item that goes in the it just plain works category!

API Magnum for me. My son bought the standard model the same year I bought the magnum. I weigh about 190 and the magnum is built for up to 300. Just feel safer with it. Little more room too.
I did modify mine to get rid of the rail. So, in essence it is more like the bowhunter model.
I'm due for a new one and will probably go with the Summit Open shot as I like their system better than the coated chains.

I would look into the XOP treestands. They are about the same as a Lone Wolf (a lot less expensive). I bought a hand climber, a loc on and sticks from this yr.

I have a lone wolf hand climber and it gets a lot of use. They are fantastic stands in my opinion.

I have a Quick and Quiet tree stand.(climber) I bought in 1988 and i am still using it today. They are very soild. They have a lifetime warranty and they are made in the USA!! You dont see them at the big stores, so they are hard to check out in person. Myself and 2 hunting buddies bought them at the same time and we all still use them.
