Fun at Bowhunter Ed.....
« on: October 02, 2007, 06:37:00 PM »
I finally took my bowhunter education class so I can get my first archery hunting license.  Since I have been shooting for almost a year now it was mostly a review for me but one thing an instructor stated had me in stitches so I figured everyone here would get a chuckle out of it as we head off hunting.

Quote from instructor as he is showing slides "this is a longbow.....I don't know how people still use these, but there are still a few guys that do...."   :knothead:

I'd question that guy's credentials to teach a bowhunter education course if he's that ignorant.

Sounds like Ky. I can't even get in a class over here. It's like it's some majorly secret club or something. I've even talked to the national director.

We don't have to take it here. Good thing because a while back I looked into it and found that there was one class about 2 1/2 hrs. from my house and that was it.
