Big Jims quiver
« on: January 08, 2015, 03:17:00 PM »
Bought myself a 2 piece quiver from big Jim and I can say its like socks on a rooster. Easy to put on and take off. Deep enough to completely cover the large centaur big game 2 blade broadheads.  Great product. Couldn't be happier.

Great quivers.  My only complaint is that they are a little small for tree sharks but you just have to angle them and everything is ok.

Best strap on quiver I've tried yet.  Beautiful and affordable too.

I've seen enough to run the other way.

Good quivers tho.

I have two of them and love them. If you put it on like BigJim shows you on his site, they are rock solid and quiet. Great price and quality too.

I have one too?  I like it a lot, as Jim Carey would say.

Hunted this season with the medium (4 arrow) model. Loved that it was light enough loaded to shoot accurately and is easily removable and hung in the tree stand for nothing on the longbow. Highly recommend it.

Big Jim's was the first bow quiver i bought. I used it for a few seasons and this fall i decided to give a great northern adjustable a try. After a few hunts I put the Big jim quiver back on. It is quieter and easier to use in the dark, in my experience anyways. You can't go wrong with the big man's quiver.

Thanks guys, I also have what I call a deflex bracket that will swing the lower end (feathers) back to line up with the lower limb or where you want it. They work great on shorter bows.

Not on the site as of yet so you would have to message or call us for that to be added...can also be added to your existing quiver.

thanks, bigjim

Just got mine shot the last of the season with it on my curve and I love it.

Got the large one recently, managed to hunt with it a few times before the end of the season. It's the only strap on quiver i've used and I haven't seen a reason to try anything else. Like it enough I went ahead and ordered a second pair of straps and hood foam in case they ever wear out.

If anybody has pictures of one I'd like to have a look. Especially one with the lower kick back piece. The deluxe hoods on Big Jims web look really sharp!

I really like using my hip quiver but have been contemplating trying out bow quivers. Big Jim's design looks very nice. Will the arrow gripper fit micro-diameter arrows? I use Victory VAPs.

I have Beman MFX arrows and needed to get some snubers from Jim to get the grippers,to hold my arrows. I needed two snubers on a few of the grippers. I wish he had some smaller grippers for the smaller arrows. But with the snubers I can go to a larger arrow without buying another set of grippers
