I just replaced my very used Black Widow recurve. It has been my only bow for 18 years.  I just slap wore it out.  I replaced it with a PSAX widow and I swear I feel like I am cheating on my old girl when I hunt with it.  It may well be my last bow.

I remember Bisch showing up at Solana a couple of years ago with his 'go to bow'....and he decided to give the St Judes bow a try on the deer target.  He shot it better than he did his bow and actually took it hunting that week.

Ya never know....    :campfire:

I think the best concept is shooting one style of bow.....same type, length, handle shape, same type of arrow etc.  Essentially the same bow but maybe different weights.  I have 5 HHA longbows all made by Mr. Schuls in different weights...found the type of wood arrow I prefer....now after about 20 more years shooting and hunting I bet I'll be pretty sure where my arrow is going to go and how to get it there without so much as a glimmer of conscious thought :-)
