Been looking for one quite awhile, found a few but they were to heavy.  How do you like yours if you own one?  Is the Sierra Blanca copy a quality bow.  I owned several Rocky Mt bows in the 80's, should have held onto them. Thanks.

Airdale,I still have my original recurve bought in 1993, it is a short riser that makes 48"/60# and 50"/63# great bow a little short for my 29" dl but still shootable. Last year I found a 60" 68# and I find it very smooth, incredibly quiet,I use it with a skinny ff string, fast and accurate. I work on it to have a easy draw with my 57# hunting bows, but I wouldn't have any problem to hunt with it. I am so pleased with!!!!
Never seen a Sierra Blanca bow,but I am been told thet they are well designed bows.

I have a 58 inch 57 lb. Rocky Mountain.  A great bow and one that I won't let loose of.  Jess Stuart's Sierra Blanca is a a copy of the Rocky Mountain by design.  While I have not personally shot his bows, I know he spent a lot of time and effort to duplicate the Rocky Mountain recurve and I suspect there is probably some improvement with modern glass and glues etc.  My next purchase will be one of his Sierra Blanca bows.

Rocky Mountain is close but not an exact copy (through the riser anyway). I owned a 54" original ,back in the early to mid ninety's. It had THE most natural fitting grip I have ever owned! Back then I had greater aspirations than good sense and ordered it at 71 pounds!! Never could conquer THAT weight, so I never did fully realize the bows potential. I've since sold the bow. I'd love to see someone copy the design EXACTLY.
Hmmmmm. I know you think you understand what you thought I said, but I'm
not sure that what you heard is what I actually meant!
