Etiquette Question
« on: January 12, 2015, 11:47:00 PM »
For future reference and clarification: Are questions about Lancaster Archery / ******** not allowed here? Yesterday, someone asked a question about a ******** Black Magic Riser. Since I bought one over the holidays, I gave my thoughts on the riser. Today, it is gone. A search showed the question was posted yesterday but a click reveals a totally different thread. So, is this a banned subject?  Thanks.

Not sure, but a lot of times they will ban post that are about products that aren't sponsors.

Maybe the mods can help us with answering that question?

I'm not sure what happened in your case, but it was probably a product that Trad Gang does not stand behind, therefore will not endorse it or allow it to be endorsed.

But also what sometimes happens is threads get out of hand or go in a wrong direction and instead of pulling/editing a few posts, they will pull the whole thing.

Nothing personal, it happens to all of us.

Best thing to do is not worry about it and move on.  If you are unsure if the poster received your message, send him a PM.

Regards.

I believe you are correct that it was banned due to a certain manufacture in which I have seen post/threads pulled before.

The admins are actually quite tolerant of folks discussing TT or L'caster products as long as abbreviations are used like I just did...the reason being they don't want these things to show up in a net or forum search and serve as potential free advertising for TT or L'caster.  L'caster is a former sponsor and there was a falling out due to TG founders disapproving of some of their business practices.  That's about all I know or care to discuss.  I am actually quite fond of the TT products I have tried, however I don't own any currently as I much prefer to own customs made in the USA.
