What is feeling when you shooting ? Compared with one piece bow ?
feels exactly like a one piece bow when held, drawn and released. blindfolded, no one can tell the difference. when apart, you get a pair of same length pieces, which helps with longer longbow lengths when air travelling when every inch counts in getting a longbow into luggage.
the lock up is solid and strong.
the only downside for some folks is that when unbraced, yer left with flopping limbs via the hinge. if need be, a small piece of electrician's tape wrapped around the hinge fixes that for me and yer bowhand won't feel that at all. OR, remove the leather grip and replace it with a roll up rubber tube grip - roll up to lock, roll down to unlock.
