I've never had the pleasure of meeting Sam, but I can feel his passion in his posts.  The last few hunts with his Hill style bow says a lot about him.  Glad to have you on our site Sam!      :clapper:

Let's not encourage Sam to go "too natural"....but I think that he has quite a few game animals accounted for with the primitive stuff....there seems to be no shortage of photos on the wall at his casa adding credence to this belief  :)

I'd like to also say....it is my belief that Sam doesn't do things as a "stunt"....
He truly admires folks that enjoy being out of doors and he in his own way pays homage to all facets of taking game and fish.....as a way to respect, enjoy, and understand the varied processes of hunting and fishing.
