I can't tell what you are holding? Are those converse allstars on your feet?
Here is my first. I was a bit older then you were when I got started in trad hunting!

Bisch : That's a 13 stripe ground squrel . The shoes are blue tips .
I was also very hard on bull frogs with that rig .

Dale,
Started shooting a bow like that when I was 8, also hard on bull frogs-Pops liked the legs. Rabbits were fair game and in '65 killed my first buck with bow-45# solid fiberglass Bear bow. Really a fluke on my part but sometimes better lucky than good.
Fun to see the older pics.

Well, I started around 57/58, no pictures, but I don't think you'd want to see it anyway, as it was a big east n.y Brooklyn rat.
You guys kill me, " are those converse sneakers "
Both nice trophies.

Good greif Dennis! Thats the way to get going. No digital cameras when I had my first kill and no film cameras around sadly. I think thats a major reason I take so many today.
Good thread and good looking "Firsts" guys.

Ooops, I made a mistake. This was actually my first kill. I shot a gobbler in the spring and the buck that fall in the same year.

Somewhere in the "Historical Photo Albums" in my Moms' house, is a 5 y.o. Birthday pic with me and My Very First Bow. I don't think I will show the Corn Cob I killed. Wasn't a record or anything.
