A hunters poem
« on: January 22, 2015, 04:10:00 PM »
He walks so slow he steps so soft
he watches ahead, he looks aloft

His bow is ready, fingers on the string
sharp broadhead waiting for game to sting

Bowhunters senses are aware and keen
his belly is empty, it's flat and lean

If luck be with him he'll make a kill
Then meat for the pot to get his fill

his hunger satisfied for another day
giving strength to be upon his way
We live in the present, we dream of the future, but we learn eternal truths from the past
When you were born, you cried and the world rejoiced. Live your life so that when you die, the world cries and you rejoice.
Life is like a wet sponge, you gotta squeeze it until you get every drop it has to offer

Luck is when preparedness meets opportunity, I just need more opportunities!

Very nice Ron, looking forward to seeing you in Kalamazoo in a couple weeks.
Too many bows to list, and so many more I want to try!  Keep the wind in your face, and your broadheads sharp.
