Ohio Archers
« on: January 26, 2015, 12:49:00 AM »
I have a friend in North East Ohio that is interested in getting into trad archery. Being in California, there is only so much I can do to help her.
Are there any shops, clubs, or ranges in the area that I can send her too? Any good shoots that have vendors, etc.?

The state forum seems like it gets little traffic, that's why I posted here.

Geauga Bowmen is a mostly Trad. club, that is East of Mayfield. Contact bomofo about them. What part of Ohio, townwise. There are a lot of TG'ers in Ohio.

The Kalamazoo Expo in Kalamazoo, Michigan is coming up this weekend - might be a few hours drive for her but I think you could argue that it's the best Trad gathering in the country.

She could easily get set up with everything she needed and more there, and that might be just as close as the next closest trad shop as well.

Cool, thanks guys. I'll send her a link to these responses. To be a little more exact on the location, the rural area just north of Warren/Niles/Youngstown. Trumbull/Geauga county.
