David Miller bow building school?
«
on:

Has anyone attended David Miller's bow building school. I am interested in taking his class, just to build longbows for myself. My company is forcing me to retire early and they provide money for training. I can't think of a better way to spend their money. Ha!
Thanks
Gil

I would love to learn how to build the Split Bamboo as a string follow. I would happily build myself a ton of bows. I don't have enough skill or talent to build them for others.
At one time in my life I was a mason, we were know as wood butchers. If I can't fix it with a hammer I can't do it.
I always just wanted to build one for myself. Like tying a fly for fishing. It is just more rewarding when you do it for yourself.

Gil, your question is something I would like to know as well. Anyone take David's bow building class? I wondered how it is from a participant.

Thanks Ron I will. Man we haven't spoke in a long time. I think the last time was back in our Dale Dye days.
