If I lived in Colorado, I would be there for sure.  Have fun on your hunt and take pix to share.

Hi Robby,
To my knowledge, "I'm in". Have you got a spot figured out?

Looking at the NW Corner of the state up in Moffat county  Should be plenty of rabbits to chase. I'm in castle rock and looking at leaving real early around 3am. I can stop along the way and we can ride together or we can meet somewhere close to the area we'd hunt. My number is 8018896210. Feel free to call or text with questions and we can work something out.

Sounds fun! when I hunted Wyoming west of Douglass a few yrs ago I was surprised at the number of rabbits [and rattlers]. If I was near, I would go!

Haha i'll drive as far as I need to for a good rabbit hunt. It's right up there with big game hunting in my book. I've got a little 2 wheel drive Hyundai. From what i've been told that should be fine unless we get a big snowstorm. Weather looks alright at the moment but i'll keep an eye on things. Thanks!

The CTAS banquet is tempting but this is the only chance i'll get to chase bunnies before the season closes. Been itching to get out all winter and this may be my only chance.

Well I had a great time on Saturday chasing rabbits. Ended up with 9 cottontails, 2 big ole jacks, and a couple of deer sheds. I've never even had a shot opportunity at a jack rabbit before, they always seem to kick up 50 yards out and run for miles so taking two that day was quite the treat. They ended up being my closest shots (under 5 yards) of the day as well. They must have thought they were well hidden with their white coats when in fact they stood out like a sore thumb with the lack of snow. I was able to sneak right up to them. The cottontails were a little tougher and I really had to work for the shots, which I enjoyed. They were pretty skittish and wouldn't let me get much closer than 10-15 yards before taking off. Saw over 100 deer and quite a few antelope as well. Ended up being almost a 24 hour day with the drive but I felt it was well worth it. Hope everyone else enjoyed their weekend!

Dang, don't tell mne you ended up doing that trip alone!

Really wish I could have gone along.

What area did you hunt?  Sure looks dry compared to when I was up there first week of Jan.  We had about two feet of snow.

I hunted pretty close to the Wyoming border. Hopped around quite a bit until I found good numbers. I ran into little patches of snow here and there but things have pretty well dried up.

Awesome stuff. I like the deer pic, looks like a mule deer garden.
