I'm ready for the season to start as well. We had 11 Toms/Jakes under the bird feeder a couple days ago. I prefer Turkey hunting over Deer myself.  rat'

Since this is a turkey thread, and R.W. posted....

He makes the finest pot call I've ever used.  Tone second to none and beautiful to boot.  A fine man to deal with with a top quality product.

Great pics too, Roy!!

I'm doing good Roy. i got a taste of that turkey hunting last year down by Rocksprings and a feel like a 16 year old after his first go round in the back seat of the 59 ford.... I gotta have me some MORE of that...   :biglaugh:

Are you coming down to that Hill Country shoot in Vanderpool in Early April? I'll be down there for the shoot and more turkey hunting. THAT was good sport!

Love this thread! Never turkey hunted but, got a tag for this year and probably won't even use it. Don't know the first thing about hunting gobblers here in Oregon.
