Wingnut doing okay
« on: January 30, 2015, 10:24:00 AM »
For all who might wonder, Mike Westvang had successful laparoscopy surgery yesterday to remove his gall bladder. He told me yesterday while on the way home from surgery that he's looking forward to the Super Bowl this Sunday and that he's doing fine. Give that hard knot a few days and he'll be up and at 'em.

Yep i'm a bit sore now but I hope to be back in the shop on Tuesday or so next week.  We have a bunch of risers going now that will finish out next week and limbs to build.

No rest for the bowyers around here.

I'm sure your surgeon was happy to hear you'll at least rest up for the length of a bowl game.   :D

Glad the operation went well and hope you heal up fast!

Thank you John for the update on Wingnut.

Glad to hear you're doing well Mike.

I had that same surgery years ago. I was grateful they had this new procedure as I wasn't looking forward to being cut open and being down 6-8 weeks.

4 tiny openings was most definitely a blessing plus I started feeling much better once the old gall bladder was removed.

I pray you're having even more relief.

God bless,Mudd

Heck I went out for a little while and was running the CNC today.  Not going to push it although the surgeon said to be as active as I could tolerate.

Glad to hear your surgery went well, Mike.  Best to you as you recover from the operation.
