Sweet! Way to go John.  :clapper:

Nice blood trail too. I'm surprised that you don't have snow on the ground? We're pretty well buried up here and I'm not that far north of you. Congratulations buddy!

Congrats!!! Way to keep at it!
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.

Nice.  And fortunate. I have been trying hard to get out these last few weeks of the season... and I just love being out in the snow.  But a lot of the days have been just to cold, and THEN when I have gotten out the deer just seem to have vaporized off of the planet.  Tomorrow the temperature should be above 25 for long enough to enjoy a few late hours in the tree stand.   Then snow is coming in and reported to be around zero in the next day or so.  I did get the chance to take a picture of an end of season deer that just about says it all as he ate the corn my wife insisted on feeding him behind my house ( in the "no shoot zone")

Nice work John. Looks like a good one. How many bows you got now?!

Spent the last hunt in the sika woods. Ice sounded like breaking glass but they never showed themselves before dark. 2 more months and I'll be after them again. In New Zealand!

Looks like you were hunting in a pine thicket. Nice bed of needles under that deer. Congrats and thanks for sharing.
