Just ordered mine. Seems like we have been waiting a really long time for this book to be finished. I am sure it will be worth the wait.
Now for the Paul Shafer book! Stoked to be sure.

I remember reading an article he wrote in TBM a few years back about his Buffalo hunt in Africa... Man what a story!

Mr. Monty Browning is going to be the keynote speaker for our United Bowhunters of Illinois annual banquet this March 7th, 2015. In Springfield, Illinois.
We are really looking forward to seeing him again. He was our first keynote speaker 20 years ago at our first banquet.

I remember reading a story in TB where Monty came too close to a grizzly bear. I don't think it was the article about him killing a grizzly, but the one about a close encounter. It made the hair stick up on the back of my neck!
Can anyone remember which issue that was? I'd love to read it again.

Im still waiting for mine. Canadian Postal service is super slow. I bet it's still at the border. Ill probably have to pay 14% tax and duty on the book before it gets to my door.

My son received his Monty Browning book today for his 16th birthday. Hopefully the nice things I wrote along with Monty's well wishes and the great life experiences within the book will serve him greatly for the future.
Looking very much forward to the MTB Banquet Saturday to hear what great tales are told. Please save me 3 tickets guys--we will try to be there right at 5.

All I can say is that this is the "Mother of all hunting books". The wait was worth it! Just trying to pace myself so I don't get it read too soon. Very hard to put it down.
Thank you Monty Browning and thank you Annie Browning for everything you have done through the years to encourage your husband. God is good all the time.

Our banquet yesterday evening was great. Monty told some great stories. A great evening was had by all. I was able to pick up his new book as well. Can't wait to read it.
