Bow fishing pics?
« on: February 03, 2015, 12:07:00 AM »
I've seen a few bowfishing threads but no pics so far. Is there a thread I'm not seeing? I would love to see some bow setups/kill pics if you guys have any. Not even real sure where I should be posting this.

I'm interested in this too! If someone doesn't direct you to another thread I'll play! Bowfishing is up there with deer hunting on my favorite hobbies!

Now that's what I'm talking about. Love those pics, nothing like being on the water. I'd love to share some pictures myself but I can't figure out how.

I don't very often take pictures of fish but I need to get some on the water pictures.

Here are a few from my last trip to La. It sure is nice to be able to shoot good eating fish like redfish!

And a big gar from Tx!

And a little lizard from Tx!

And a few plecos from central Tx!

I'm building a bowfishing boat now, so I hope to have some more good pics in the coming months.

I really want to go after those rays one of these days!

Thanks! Just a 1754 aluminum with a deck and LED setup. Nothing fancy, but should be very effective.

Hummer I believe those are Plecostomas or Pleco for short. A rather popular aquarium fish brought over from South America. I'm sure Bisch can explain further but I'd imagine they are a nuisance fish in Texas because people let them go in lakes and such. As you can see they get quite large and people buy them when their babies for a small 10 gallon tank thinking they will stay small forever.
