I have come to realize I am not shooting not near the bow weight I thought I was . I am thinking 500s would be good at this weight. Like to here some opinions . Thanks , Darren

Depends on what weight you want up front, but if you're only drawing 24", unless you want a large boat anchor on the end, I'd suggest 1535s and you can still probably put 175 gr up front and cut them back until you get the flight you want.

I draw 26 1\\2" and shoot 310-360gr broadhead total weight on the front of a 1535 @ 28 3\\8" long from the cut end to the throat of the knock, with three 4" parabolic feathers. I shoot them out of my Morrison Shawnee 64" LB which is 56 @ 28, so it's probably 51-52# @ 26 1\\2"
The variation in the weight comes from using a 50gr brass insert versus using a 100gr brass insert. The arrow with the 100gr brass insert was paper tuned. Both fly great but I like the 50gr inserts better.

5/16 Wood of any type. I use dowel rods from Any Store, the trick is finding Straight ones....But they are out there!!

That should work, then adjust the length of the shaft a little at a time to tune it.
