Yeah man, what a day we had!!

I never would have thought we'd break our one day record....but we did....14 bunnies in one afternoon, no dogs, in NY, all with trad equipment.....how can you beat that!!

I broke the ice on the first push with a moving shot on a bunny at 5yds....blew a VPA small game thumper right through it, mid body, and it still got into a nearby brush pile!

Thanx to the help of Timmy K. who reached right in a grabbed it!!!  The boy is an animal!!

•

After that it was on!!

I killed another on the next push with a quick shot on a bunny that exposed itself for a second at the end of a junkpile...Both of these shots are on video!!!

•

•

My boy...
•

I ended up with 3 before we stopped back at the house for a drink....I tied my personal high of 3 bunnies in a day in NY...
•

We headed back out and the bunnies continued to fall.

One that Matt(Homer) and Nate double teamed...
•

Then Cade struck, his 2nd bunny with a bow....and he wasn't done!
•

The march...
•

more to come....

That's a great day rabbit hunting! Used to have a place to hunt rabbits up that way, sure was great. Lost it many years ago when the farmer died. Congrats!

Friends, rabbits and snow. Sounds like a great combo. Cade has really become some shot I see.

Once again what a great day for you guys. It looks like Curt and Cade are going to have a lot of rabbit stew, since they are both in the same house(LOL). Congrats to Father and Son and all the rest of the gang. Thanks for the pics and taking us along.

Cade is a smooth opperater, he keeps his cool on a charging bunny which is easier said than done. Ive seen grown men scream like school girls at the sight of an incoming bunny.

Can't belive how successful you guys were, must be some goodshooters! All without a dog! Admire you for getting out with the snow and cold, I didn't see any snowshoes?

Looks like an outstanding day. Anyone who has been on this hunt knows how much effort it takes to get it done. Great job to all.
