What is the IBO world like?
« on: February 15, 2015, 02:50:00 PM »
My son and I are planning a father/son trip this July. We are thinking about IBO World. What is the camping like? We will have a tent. Are the 3D coarses set-up in the woods or out in the open like Iv seen on you tube? Food vendors? We are traveling from Colorado, we don't want to pack alot of food. Any other info. would be helpful. Thanks

They have camping but the temps and humidity will probably drive you to a motel.  The courses are in the woods with some events taking place out on the flat for the spectators.  They have a food vendor at the range during the shoot.

It's a great location and shoot.

You definitely wont be dissatisfied.  Its awesome. The course is the best in my book. The Twin Oaks fellas are down to earth  and take pride in their club you will find tbat out while you are there. The venders are top notch. The food is excellent. Any of their events are at the top of my list for shoots.

The IBO Trad World shoot is moving back to Twin Oaks this year. Twin Oaks is one of the most awesomest places on earth for a tratitional bowhunter. You will not regret going there!!!!!! We camped in my popup camper and took most everything we needed, so I do not remember all that much about the food vendors. There are places near that you can stop by when you are almost there and stock up with whatever you need though.

Definitely worth a visit.  An excellent setup, great organizers, and a fun group of attendees.  Now if only the humidity and heat would both be lower it would be perfect!
