new life for old arrows
« on: February 16, 2015, 10:03:00 AM »
i've been shooting these gold tip traditional arrows for more than 8 years steady and they were starting to look ratty.....so i stripped off the feathers, cresting and nocks and gave them a new look....

i didn't realize that this was the third time for a new look.....as i was stripping the cresting off, i discovered that i had another layer on the arrows.....

anyway, I've always wanted a set of white arrows and since its to cold outside to do anything, i took my time and did some fancy feather splicing...at least for me its fancy!

after 8+ years the gold tips are holding up really well....enjoy..

this is one of my first times trying to upload pictures....i'm not sure if i did it right.....

Those are pretty snazzy right there! There is no way I would ever have the patience to do that to my arrows. The splicing os awesome!

Great work!

Man, I really envy you guys that like doing that stuff.  I absolutely will not go to all that effort for my arrows, but I sure like looking at yours.

Nice job. . .
