This is so awesome, I have to share.
I come home, and a pile of my son's 10 and 11` year old friends, boys and girls, are in my basement workshop shooting very poorly made bows made of coat hangers and dental floss.
They are shooting at a target made from an acoustic ceiling tile.
As I'm coming down the stairs I hear....
"I'm Fred Eichler", "Im Ted Nugent", "I'm Tom Miranda", "I'm Chuck Adams", one non bowhunter says "I'm Jim Shockey"....
I hear my son's voice....
"I'm Charlie Lamb"...
What else can I say?
Coolest thing ever!

Too Cool but a well deserved "idol". when I bow hunt I often ask myself how Charlie would analyze a deer. His thought into each individual game animal sure hit me with an unforgettable impression.

Thanks David, you reminded me I had Charley's book in the bow room. I read the first chapter of his first deer kill last night. I'll finish it up in my down time this winter. Always enjoyed him the short time I've been here and would love to meet him some day.

Good story right there. Yes Sir, Dad is raising that young man right. Charlie, I think it goes without having to be said how inspirational you have been to alot of folks. Never met you personally but alot of my close friends have and everyone of them speaks very highly of you. Great job gentlemen, keep up the good work.

Neat stuff.......what really impresses me is at that age those kids even know those names....

Most kids now days just know music/actor types or some crap from social media.
