Went out for the last hour of light to chasr rabbits.
Mickey ran 3 bunny's past us but My buddy got the only shot and made it good. It was 23 yards quartering away running and he hit it right behind the shoulder, couldn't believe it.

Great shootin!
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.

Awesome! Three of my favorite things, bunnies, beagles and traditional bows. Great picture, great shootin', and a great looking pup. Glad you were able to get out and have some fun.

The only way I'm going to be able to get my dog out any time soon, is if I make him some little snowshoes. They're calling for a little warm up over the weekend, so hopefully that will settle the snow some.

Tell your buddy congrats for me on his great shot too, by the way.

I've adopted too many bows that needed a good home.

I never ate a rabbit that I didn't like, but they seem to taste better when shot with a traditional bow.   ;)
