This 'Yote Gets To Hunt Again
« on: February 25, 2015, 08:51:00 AM »
Thought id show you guys the product of my boredom/cabin fever i have contracted this week. I would show you a hero pic of this dog but it has a much more sophisticated weapon in the picture, one with a lethal range much longer than out beloved sticks and strings. I am very pleased with the outcome, i tanned the hide with stockman mineral salt from Tra**** S*****.
Worked like a charm. I made the strap from scrap leather that was given to me by a local leather shop. Cant wait to get this dog back on the hunt.

Nice. Is there anything at the inside bottom to keep broadheads from cutting the pelt? As a trapper, I have a bunch of pelts that I wanted to make quivers out of. I'd love to hear a step by step of how you made it.

I like that! Has a rough look to it that makes it extra cool.
